[Announcement] Clarification Regarding Adappter Token Circulating Supply in Various Communities We have noticed discussions in various communities about the circulating supply of ADP. We would like to clarify and provide an update regarding the circulating supply of ADP. ㆍCirculating Supply on CoinMarketCap(CMC) : 3,049,466,726 ADP ㆍCirculating Supply on CoinGecko : 3,049,466,726 ADP → Actual Final Circulating Supply: 3,549,466,726 ADP As indicated above, the actual circulating supply of ADP is higher than what is currently listed on CMC. This discrepancy may lead to differences in circulating supply figures between major exchanges like Bithumb and those reported by CMC. This issue arose because the 500,000,000 ADP tokens unlocked from the reserve on July 15th have not yet been reflected on CMC.(https://t.me/AdappterOfficial/214) In the past, unlocked tokens were automatically updated on CMC within a few days following the Foundation's announcement. Aware of this, the Adappter Foundation was waiting for CMC to update the figures and shared this information with Bithumb on July 17th. However, the delay in updating the reserve tokens unlocked last month prompted the Foundation to contact CMC last week, and we are currently in communication to correct the final circulating supply as of early this week. As it stands, the actual final circulating supply is 3,549,466,726 ADP. We are working closely with CMC to ensure this discrepancy is resolved and the correct supply figures are reflected. Here is a timeline summarizing the events: 2024.07.15 | ADP Reserve of 500million tokens unlocked, announcement made (https://t.me/AdappterOfficial/214) 2024.07.17 | Shared information about the missing CMC figures with Bithumb 2024.08.23 | (After a month without updates) Inquiry sent to CMC about the missing figures 2024.08.26 | CMC requested additional documentation 2024.08.27 | Additional documentation sent to CMC The Adappter Foundation has never encountered issues related to circulating supply in the past five years. We have always strived to maintain transparency in circulating supply and service operations, and we will continue to do so. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or concern this situation may have caused. We are actively working with CMC to update the circulating supply figures as quickly as possible, and we will take steps to prevent similar issues in the future.
